DARK HORSE COMICS TO PUBLISH SONS OF ASHGARD
We're pleased to report that Dark Horse Comics, one of the largest comic publishers in the US market, has agreed to publish Chad's comic miniseries, Sons of Ashgard. The first of these six issues are slated for publication in late 2017. With art by Matt Wendt, colors by Hi-fi, and lettering by Taylor Esposito of Ghost Glyph Studios, it's sure to be something special and well recevied.
"I'm really pleased to have the oppourunity to work with Dark Horse," said Chad on the deal. "They have been around for three decades and proven they know how to not only produce comics but get them into readers hands all over the world, reaching out into new arenas and avenues that keep their numbers growing. To have [Sons of] Ashgard get on to thier list is a great development. I'm looking forward to working with them and the rest of the team as we bring the miniseries into production."
In addition to print publication, Dark Horse also aquired rights to the digital version and other media avenues such as film/tv, toys, and other forms of merchandise that could help bring things into still further materialization.
When an official release date has been confirmed for the series it will be posted to this website. Until then feel free to explore more of Chad's work under the Works and Worlds pages. You can also follow him online via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or even his email newsletter if you'd like to keep abreast of any further news.
Dark Horse Comics was founded in 1986 by Mike Richardson as an offshoot of his Oregon comic-book retail chain, Things From Another World. Richardson pursued the idea of establishing an ideal atmosphere for creative professionals, and thirty years later the company has grown to become the third-largest comics publisher in the United States.
